JCB 531-70 Wastemaster
Non stop performance for a 24/7 operation
Designed and developed using our Efficient Design philosophy, the JCB 531-70 Wastemaster Loadall is the smallest of our full-sized telescopic handler machines. It’s a hugely productive Loadall sitting on a chassis that’s designed for load bearing and stability.
The 531-70 Wastemaster’s new award-winning EcoMAX engine meets Stage IIIB/Tier 4i legislation without using a bulky DPF, which, in turn, brings benefits like great visibility, low running costs and more uptime. Special Wastemaster spec means it’s also fitted with extra guarding, protection and an uprated hydraulic pump.
A JCB 531-70 Wastemaster Loadall is fitted with a tough inverted U-shaped boom pressing with fully welded closing plates. For extra strength we limit the number of joints and stress points across our integrated boom nose and one-piece closing plate.
The boom on a 531-70 Wastemaster is mounted low in the chassis, providing a rigid structure and maximum over-the-shoulder visibility. Hoses are routed through the boom for maximum protection, while boom overlaps of up to 1.0m ensure ultimate strength and durability.
The new 531-70 Wastemaster telescopic handler’s stringent testing programme has included prolonged high stress loading of the chassis, boom and other key components, as well as repeated transmission use over thousands of cycles.
A 531-70 Wastemaster Loadall is an extremely manoeuvrable telescopic handler; the compact wheelbase and large steering lock angles save you valuable travel time on site.
The 531-70 Wastemaster comes with 4WD as standard, helping you maintain plenty of traction and performance even in soft, muddy areas. There’s also an optional transmission dump on the foot brake for superb multi-functioning when loading or rehandling.
The 531-70 Wastemaster Loadall has three selectable steer modes. There’s two wheel steer, which is ideal for travelling at high speed on the road; four-wheel steer for working in tight spaces; and crab steer for manoeuvring close to walls and buildings.
JCB’s EcoMAX engine produces high levels of power and torque even at engine speeds as low as 1400-1600rpm, which means that a JCB Construction Loadall can provide fuel-efficient matching of transmission and hydraulics.
A JCB 531-70 Wastemaster telescopic handler is a great asset in so many respects, not least financially – huge global demand, plus legendary productivity and superb build quality equals maximum resale value.
Our Wastemaster Loadalls take toughness to a new level. Extra guarding for the cab and lighting are standard, as is underbelly protection, all of which protects both your investment and your operators.
