It comes with everything but a DPF
The new generation JCB 90Z-1 are the toughest excavators that JCB has ever built. They also boast unrivalled levels of power, productivity and versatility throughout.
As a low cost of ownership will be foremost on your mind, these diggers are designed to keep running costs affordable. At the same time uptime is maximised via a combination of supreme operator comfort, stringent safety measures as well as easy and cost-effective serviceability.
In short, JCB has used its 50-year expertise to create machines that meet your exact demands.
Fuel combustion in this mini excavators’ JCB Diesel by Kohler engine is so clean that the unit does not require a diesel particulate filter (DPF). This reduces servicing, improves fuel efficiency and increases uptime.
There are 3 dipper option lengths of 1.65m, 2.1m and 2.25m. This gives increased performance and more versatility. JCBs mini excavator boom is a two-piece unit that offers close reach, excellent dump reach and superb digging capacity.
Twin auxiliary lines with both high and low hydraulic flows are standard-fit on the 100C. This allows you to operate many versatility-enhancing attachments. Any attachment can be operated easily by proportional electronic auxiliary line control with full adjustability.
Engine revs automatically drop to under 950 rpm when the operator’s armrest is raised. Combined with the Auto Idle feature this therefore boosts economy and reduces noise. On the 90Z and 100C mini diggers there are two separate dig modes (efficiency-boosting ECO or productivity-enhancing Heavy) , allowing you to tweak your performance for any job.
A simplified H-frame construction and finite element analysis have helped JCB to create the ultimate heavy-duty mini excavator structure. The JCB 100C therefore combines durability with confidence-inspiring stability.
To offer a long and trouble-free service life, the fully robot-welded high tensile steel boom and dipper is strengthened with internal baffle plates. For added structural strength, the clean and elegant dipper design from JCB is constructed from just four plates.
Excavator hoses are safely routed through the heavy-duty kingpost, which is made to last using durable re-bushable pivots. By using the very latest O-ring face seals (ORFS) throughout the hydraulic system, JCB has reduced potential leaks too.
Greasing intervals at the dozer and dig ends are a best-in-class 500 hours on these excavators, saving you time and money. This is made possible with the use of graphite impregnated bronze bushes.
JCB has boosted overall space in our 9-tonne excavator cabs. Therefore there is plenty of storage, a phone tray, stowage nets and a cup holder. A large door provides easy safe cab access.
The standard-fit fully adjustable suspension seat offers great comfort. The heated air suspension option boasts independent adjustable positions for maximum ergonomics. An informative colour LCD display is at the centre of the intuitive switch layout. Furthermore you can spec a reversing camera.
The hydraulic valve block has been isolated from the chassis by rubber mounts, thus reducing in-cab noise and vibration. The valve block is nevertheless easy to access under the side-opening bonnet.
A standard-fit ergonomic electro-hydraulic dozer control ensures smooth and precise grading.
Short pitched tracks engage every tooth on the sprocket, helping to reduce vibration and noise whilst maintaining a very smooth ride.
